Set Guidelines Pertaining To Their Return Policies
The return-policy of Target is such that they are very customer-friendly in nature. Here is a list of some of the more general guidelines that you need to keep in mind regarding the Target return policy:
1. Condition Of The Product
The item which you wish to return should be unopened and in its original condition how it was given to you. The item should also include all of the accessories and manuals – if any were given to you.
For example, items like video games, software, and electronics must be unopened – to be eligible for return.
2. Requirements Of Receipts
For initiating a return, you are generally going to need to provide proof of your purchase. This also includes the packing slip, digital purchase history, and even your original receipt.
If you have made a purchase at theirs with a Target RedCard then know that Target can look up your purchase without even requiring a receipt.
3. Exceptions
There are a few categories of items which are non-returnable in nature. Items like movies, gift cards, open music, software, and movies are non-returnable. Moreover, items that are perishable like open cosmetics and food cannot be returned as well.
4. Timeframe
Majority of the products are eligible for return within a 90-days period. However, there are also a few exceptions, where some items have shorter periods for return.
You need to make sure that you are always checking your receipt on the website of Targets to get to know about the specific Timeframes.

Making Returns Without Receipts
While usually at most of the stores making returns requires a receipt, Target is known to accept returns without receipts as well.
When making returns with receipts, the customer only needs to bring in the item along with the receipt to the desk of Guest Services at any of their stores. Target then processes the returns and makes the refund.
As for “Target return policy No Receipt”, Target may ask for an ID, and then only the customer is going to get the refund in the form of store credit or Gift Card. The refund amount is going to be generally based on the current price of the returned item or even the lowest sale price within the past 90 days.
Tip: The Target Cat and Jack return policy states that their products have a durability guarantee for a whole year. If you are unsatisfied with their product within that window period, then you can make free returns of those products with a receipt.
Target Registry Items
If you are making returns of items which you had received from the registry, then you simply need to log in to the registry of your Target account. Then select the registry from the page of “Registry” and navigate to the section labeled as “Offers and Benefits”.
Next, you are required to click on the option labeled “Start a return”, after which you can select a store.
