Unacademy fired a teacher after a video of him went viral on social media, where he can be seen urging students to vote for educated candidates.
Roman Saini, the co-founder of Unacademy, pointed out in a tweet regarding this matter, that the classroom is definitely not a place for sharing personal views and opinions. He further stated that this was a breach of conduct and that is why the Edtech company was forced to part ways with the educator.
Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister Of Delhi, made a tweet regarding this matter as well. In his tweet, he made questions on whether it is actually a crime to appeal to vote for educated people.
