Gina Rinehart is an Australian business woman. She was born at St. John of God Subiaco Hospital on 9 February 1954 in Perth. Rinehart was born to Hope Margaret Nicholas and Lang Hancock. She was the one and only child of her parents. 

In her early life, she lived with her parents until the age of 8 on a sheep and cattle ranch before her primary school. She completed her schooling from St. Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls in Perth. 

After her schooling, she went to University of Sydney to study economics. Later Rinehart started working with her father and dropped her studies. There she gained a lot of knowledge about business, while working with her father. 

Few years later she faced a lot of challenges after her fathers death. Gina Rinehart is considered to be a heiress to the Hancock Prospecting Group fortune. Though the company was founded by Lang Hancock, her father.

She was born in Perth on 9 February 1954. Gina Rinehart was to Hope Margaret Nicholas and Lang Hancock and was the only child of her parents.

She completed her schooling in Perth and later went to University of Sydney for higher studies. 

At the age of 19, Gina Rinehart met Englishman Greg Milton. They both were in search of work in Wittenoom. Milton changed his surname to an earlier family name Hayward. After that they had their first child John Langley in 1976. A year later they had their second child Bianca Hope in 1977.

Rinehart and Greg Milton got separated in 1979 and got divorced in 1981.

Later she married Frank Rinehart, a corporate lawyer and Acro executive in 1983. They had two childrens named Hope and Ginia in 1986 and 1987 respectively. After a few years of their marriage, Frank died in 1990.

In early years Gina Rinehart and her step mother were in a cold war. The legal fight after her fathers death continued since then. It took 14 long years to settle down with this.
